Blessings from the curse?
Not excusing sin, but....
If Lucifer and Adam and Eve had not fallen, nobody would be perfected by suffering in the process of sanctification. It is not back to Eden, but progress and increased light.
Or else both angels and mankind would have been in a naive, unexperienced, unwise state forever.
Questions to ponder:
Were the serpent's words really a lie?
Genesis 3:
4"You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman.
5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
1. This does not necessarilly teach the immortality of the soul. Rather that it was not a certainty that they would have to die forever, as in the second death. At that point they would know nothing about the first and second death, nor redemption/ salvation.
2. Increased knowledge/ wisdom through experience and sufferings. Tests and trials.
If Lucifer had not fallen, and Adam and Eve had not fell, there would be no possibility to learn by trials and suffering. They would have stayed in a naive, stupid state forever. No progression or higher wisdom achievable.
3. How does this fit with 2. Cor 12, 1. Cor 2 and 3, Hebrews 12? How would Christ have been perfected by suffering were it not for the fall? Hebrews 2:9.
