Why God can not be both good and evil “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other.

If we advance on the path of righteousness (sanctification process), we will hate the spirit of the world, of self, of man without the spirit of God, of Satan, to an increasingly degree, because it is alien to the spirit and character of Christ. We move from superficial, selfish, pride in ourselves (the former, old self), hatred, unforgiveness, a limited “love”, unwise in God’s eyes, full of prejudices and so on, to a deeper/more spiritual understanding and thinking. More selfless, boasting in the power of God not ourselves, forgiveness, a higher form of love (wanting everyone saved), wiser in God and loss of prejudices.
The closer you get to the heart and mind of Christ, the more you detest the former self, which is the same as the spirit of the world the prince of it.
So you come to the full realization that God, as He is in His purest form, can not tolerate sin, which is anything that is not in harmony with His universal law of divine love. A very personal God, not an impersonal energy. This has nothing to do with physical or mental energies, and everything to do with character traits. If it were, Christ would not have gained the victory over Satan when he suffered His deepest agony and also when He died physically. We then deny the resurrection of Christ. We also deny that he came as man, as God incarnate, and tasted every trial and temptation a human being can suffer through, and yet succeeded. Is is called the narrow way, and the way of the cross. Not the broad way and a road only filled with pleasures and temporal blessings. No, that is Satan’s counterfeit.
Satan’s close counterfeit of energies and naming energies for feelings like “love”, “hate”, “fear” etc, has nothing to do with the genuine religion of God/Christ. They may seem close, but if you peel off the outer layers, you realize they could not be further apart. They have nothing to do with each other. And yet, almost the entire Christian world is deceived at this point, thinking it does. The Holy spirit is not so much a physical energy nor feeling per say. It is spirit and mostly responsible for spiritual blessings. That is grace, undeserved power from God, to overcome our sinful, natural character.
Feelings are involved in the Christian walk, yes, but nothing that resembles that spiritualistic pretence of energies and linking them to “love”. Not at all. It is to pervert the holy truths of God in a very deceptive manner. By changing the ingredients and content of words and phrases pertaining to salvation. Most humans are duped here, but nonetheless, when we hear the truth, we are to repent and turn away from our evil ways. God will forgive our trespasses if we truly surrender.
Satan’s end time religion is about being saved in sin (once saved, always saved. Or cheap “grace”). Or to work your way into heaven in the outer vessel: like energy work found frequently in spiritualism.
If we have a divided heart, we will not be able to tolerate the purity of Christ when He arrive. We are not going to like Him, and we will choose the Babylonian version of Christ, which is the Christ of “yesterdays” light, which can soon become a fallen/Babylonian version, by rejecting light from Christ when it arrived. Or tarry too long to embrace it.
God represent one of these, and Satan the other. It is impossible for one and the same being to represent both. As a natural consequence of being filled fully with one, they will naturally not tolerate the other. They are in complete enmity with each other. So, God can not both be good and evil, as Satan suggest. It is a mere impossibility.

The knowledge of Good and Evil
…yet God and heaven only contain good.
The serpent lured Eve with receiving the “Knowledge of good and evil” (Genesis 3:5).
Stop for a moment and think here. God is perfectly good, in Him there is no evil. Same goes for His government, His Law, character and spirit.
So what Satan wanted to introduce to Eve, and has for the last 6000 years since introduced to mankind, is Babylon: a mixture of Truth and Falsehoods: Of Good and Evil. Truth biblically speaking, is not the same as realities in this world. In this world, which is a fallen world under the curse of sin, and increasingly so for the last 6000 years, we see both good and evil, but this is not the case in heaven. There existed no evil until iniquity was found in him, Lucifer, the once highly exalted angel, who fell because of His own pride. Until this point in the history of the Universe, there was no evil in existence. And evil will finally have its downfall and end, at the final day of judgment, when sin will forever be eradicated from the face of the entire Universe. And this earth, where the curse of sin has dominated for several thousands years, will also be recreated by God, and will from that point on not have any taint of sin.
However, Satan try desperately and with all his powers to deceive, even the very elect, try to convince people and even Christians that some sin is allowed and even beneficial. And that to separate ourselves from sin, is to be evil and intolerant. Attempting to turn darkness into light and light into darkness. Setting his name on Christ and stealing the name of Christ to his own sinful law, character and spirit. Trying to switch His own image of the beast into the image of Christ. Claiming His own Babylonian agenda and government as that of Christ and coming from heaven.
“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who turn darkness to light and light to darkness, who replace bitter with sweet and sweet with bitter.» Isaiah 5:20
