The Jews expected a king of high renown. Not a poor carpenter’s son from the city of Nazareth, a city with a bad reputation, born in manger, laid in a crib, used to feed beasts. There was not much about him to attract anyone, except His beautiful character, His heart and wisdom. It was a test from God to reveal their own hearts. Would they be attracted by His goodhearted character, or was it the outward adornment, display and glory that would attract them? The majority of the Jews, representing the people of God, failed this important test. Albeit there were some who welcomed Him and accepted him as the Messiah. The rest were rejected by Christ and God partly due to this reason. It was their prideful hearts that lead to this rejection and fall, and made them spiritually blind in this regard. If people have to wait before Christ comes the second time, when He arrive as a powerful king in majesty and glory, then they will fall short in their unbelief and pride. This was the reason for the church’s rejection of Christ as the Messiah the first time. Would Christ suddenly now save humans for this exact same reason that made them reject Him the first time? It would be self contradictory. In addition, people would be saved not because of faith, but because of what they see in front of them, in other words: tangible evidence, to walk by sight and not of faith. This is not much better than atheism, who also profess to only believe in tangible evidence. "For we walk by faith, not by sight." 2. Cor 5:7
"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things *not seen*.” Hebrews 11:1
Except this would not be an evidence of the Messiah or Christ's second coming, as Satan/Lucifer will come first in His crowning act of deception. when he will impersonate Christ himself and counterfeit the second coming of Christ.
You would have to rip out many pages of the Bible, you would have to distort the gospel to mean something entirely different, destroy one vital reason for Christ's first coming, and much of His ministry and message, in order to accept this doctrine.
Satan try to manipulate your senses, appeal to people's pride, and then as a last resort make use of fear and force, forced scare tactics, to confuse and deceive. Which is why God tested His people to reveal what was in their hearts, and to make it a profound example for later generations to learn from. Not that He desired to judge or condemn them, but to have them realize their error. Repent and accept Him because of His goodhearted character and great wisdom from God, not because of outward splendor or any of these superficial reasons that many people often are attracted by. That was the big test for them, and many failed. So again, why would Jesus suddenly save and accept people due to outward factors when He arrive the second time?
"For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels". -Luke 9:26
A large number of God’s people refused to accept Christ as the Messiah when He was here the first time. Because they refused to accept him in his poor and in many eyes shameful garb, from his birth to his death; a death prepared for the vilest of criminals. Because who would even think of being ashamed of Christ at his second coming as a powerful king in glory and majesty? Not even the proudest of hearts.
"And ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.." -Matthew 10:22·
Would they experience hatred and persecution for His sake if they wait until his second coming, if they refused or would refuse to accept Him, the first time? When part of the test was to accept him and discern that He was the Messiah, despite His lack of the prideful and superficial elements. Factors that the majority of the world are so easily ensnared and attracted by.
And every single soul can still accept Christ now, so the option is out there for everyone regardless of current religion or denomination. So this is not to judge, but to warn people who could be deceived. We speak here of false doctrines, not based on race, nationality or any outside factor. Doctrines that any heart can reject if that is their heart's desire.
Nobody will be saved if they wait until Christ’s second coming to accept Him as the Messiah, because the Bible clearly teaches that right after His coming, this earth will be turned into ruins. All cases will be decided before the second advent of Christ. And His feet will not touch the earth.
“And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.' · Acts 1:9-11
Every single person is free to accept Him now, regardless of current religion or denomination. It will be too late at the second coming.
And nobody has ever been saved based upon race, genetics, gender, appearance, nationality, church membership, affiliations, neither under the Old, nor the new covenant and order.
“There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed and heirs according to the promise.” Galatians 3: 28-29
"For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith.” Romans 9:8
“So it is not the children of the flesh who are God's children, but it is the children of the promise who are regarded as offspring". Romans 9:8
"In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ.” -Colossians 2:11 Who is regarded as a Jew according to the Bible? “For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God". -Romans 2:28-29
God does not favor anyone based on their outer factors in particular. This offer is for everyone, regardless of genetics, race, nationality, gender, status, or background.
