I see no need to interpret Revelation 20 in a wider, spiritual manner, like I did with the 7 Last plagues. I agree with the traditional adventist interpretation of this.
There is a marked difference between the literal fallen angel, Satan to that of the law and spirit/ character of the dragon, the beast and the false prophet. This is the character of 666, the fallen or unsanctified creation. Which can be both humans and angels.
I feel the same way concerning ch 2, 3, 5, 6-10 of the 7 churches, the 7 seals and the 7 trumpets. See illustrations below. Same with chapter 20-21. So far I do not see the need to interpret these further, but maybe I will discover something at a later reading.
Not everything should be interpreted in a spiritual, wider sense.
I advice you to go to the traditional adventist interpretation in addition, at least to get the entire picture. Amazing Facts.org has some good teachings on these chapters. In some interpretations, the literal may be entirely replaced by the more spiritual, while in other interpretations, the more literal is still of importance. I feel called to give a wider, advanced interpretation that helps to also go more at depth in the interpretation of some of the chapters in Revelation and Daniel.
That being said, I believe that this website basically contains overall the essentials for our sanctification and salvation, as well as private Bible reading and prayer, as there will always be something that will be of a kind that is more tailored to the individual. That being said, it is also a doctrine largely for those who are already Christians or believers, with identifications of what Babylon is, and an advancement from traditions and the more immature doctrine that belongs to the old law and covenant.
